The AZIMUT hotel complex under construction in Pyatigorsk has been recognized by the National “Real Estate Market Expert” Awards at the All-Russian Housing Congress in St. Petersburg, one of Russia’s largest professional real estate forums. AZIMUT City Hotel Pyatigorsk received the award for “Best Investment Project in the Caucasian Mineral Waters Region,” highlighting the project’s investment potential and the demand for private investment opportunities in the Caucasian Mineral Waters (CMS) resort region.
The National “Real Estate Market Expert” Awards are presented annually as part of the congress. An expert jury evaluates projects based on criteria including investment appeal, the quality of architectural and planning solutions, the level of the management company, the attractiveness of the location and the transparency of the financial model.
The four-star AZIMUT hotel complex, comprising 254 rooms, is being built in the resort area of Pyatigorsk at 3a Fevralskaya Street. The project is being developed by specialized developer Etalon Hotel LLC (SZ Etalon Hotel) in accordance with the requirements of Federal Law No. 214-FZ, with funding from private investors. The complex will be managed by federal hotel operator AZIMUT Hotels.
The new hotel is designed to accommodate both business travelers and guests exploring the Caucasus region. It will offer designer-finished rooms across four categories, ranging from 25 sq. m. standard rooms to 110 sq. m. family suites. The complex will feature a spa area, restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center and meeting rooms. Particular attention will be paid to high-quality event facilities, including several fully equipped modular conference halls.
The Caucasian Mineral Waters (CMS) region has demonstrated steady growth in tourist numbers year after year. In 2025, the Caucasian Mineral Waters welcomed 18% more tourists than the previous year. The region has more than 600 accommodation facilities, while a shortage of high-quality room inventory remains. Tourism development programs in the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD), along with government investment, are helping stimulate demand and create favorable conditions for investment in the region’s hotel real estate market.
