A new accommodation option has appeared on the grounds of the “Buran” sanatorium (Sergiyev Posad), which is part of Russia's largest hotel chain, AZIMUT Hotels — comfortable bungalows in a forest area. This is a unique opportunity to combine wellness tourism with outdoor recreation just 80 km from the capital. Bungalows are available in the “Standard,” “Comfort,” and “Family” (up to 4 people) categories, and guests have the opportunity to use the entire infrastructure of the sanatorium.
“Today, various types of outdoor accommodation are becoming increasingly popular among travelers. Seeing this, the AZIMUT Hotels chain decided to expand this trend and provide not just an opportunity for outdoor recreation, but to combine it with the chance to restore strength using the sports and medical infrastructure of the “Buran” sanatorium. Now, staying in a cozy bungalow in a pine forest, you can go to the pool, play tennis, get a massage, and enjoy other medical procedures. We are confident that the bungalows will be in high demand among Muscovites and guests of the region,” noted Maxim Brodovsky, General Director of the chain.
Each bungalow has Wi-Fi, a shower, and a small equipped kitchen with a sink, an electric stove, and a mini-fridge, as well as its own terrace and adjoining barbecue area. A barbecue set can be rented at the reception and accommodation desk. Convenient access to the bungalows allows guests to easily reach the accommodation and park their car.
The “Buran” sanatorium is located in a dense mixed forest near the Orthodox gem of the Golden Ring — the city of Sergiyev Posad and the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. It takes just an hour and a half to get from Moscow to the sanatorium.
