A gala ceremony honoring the winners of the Russian Traveler Awards 2025 national tourism awards, established by the editorial team of the country’s most popular travel publication, was held in Moscow. Winners were selected in two stages: through an open public vote on the website and by a panel of experts comprising industry professionals. AZIMUT Hotels, Russia’s largest hotel chain, once again demonstrated its strong position, receiving several awards.
A special award from Russian Traveler magazine and the expert jury was presented to Alexander Ilyich Klyachin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AZIMUT Hotels, for “Contribution to the Development of Hotel Infrastructure and Tourism in Russia.” Under his leadership, AZIMUT Hotels has significantly expanded its geographical presence by opening modern hotels in landmark locations. The chain has also become a leader in covering a diverse range of tourist regions, creating comfortable accommodation infrastructure where it is particularly needed. This strategy directly contributes to enhancing Russia’s appeal as a travel destination.
METROPOL Grand Hotel Gelendzhik, part of the AZIMUT Hotels chain, was named the best resort hotel in Russia. It maintains a high level of service while continuing to develop premium infrastructure for beach holidays on the Black Sea coast. The awards also recognized AZIMUT City Hotel Tula in the “Boutique Hotel” category and AZIMUT Park Hotel & Spa Repino in the “Country Hotel” category.
“We are very grateful to our valued guests and the award’s esteemed experts for their choice. The recognition from Russia’s most popular travel magazine is a testament to the contribution of all our hotel employees, who work every day to make travel around the country comfortable and memorable. We are honored to contribute to the development of Russia’s tourism potential,” said Maxim Brodovsky, CEO of AZIMUT Hotels.
