The program is aimed at the rapid rehabilitation of patients who have undergone injuries and/or surgical interventions on the musculoskeletal system.
Main objectives of the program
Rehabilitation measures aimed at restoring the functions of the musculoskeletal system.
Indications
Patients eligible for inpatient medical rehabilitation include those after orthopedic and traumatological surgeries, joint reconstruction/plastic surgery, endoprosthetics and revision endoprosthetics, and limb replantation.
Patients should be in satisfactory condition, with no postoperative complications, able to move independently and take care of themselves, and have sufficient physical, mental, and psychological capacity to stay in a 24-hour sanatorium setting without constant external care.

If there are accompanying medical conditions, additional procedures may be included in the basic sanatorium treatment program at no extra cost, depending on medical indications, contraindications, and compatibility of procedures.

The list of procedures is individually tailored for each patient, taking into account medical indications, contraindications, and compatibility of treatments.
Contraindications
- postoperative complications: surgical wounds healing by secondary intention, ligature fistulas, purulent postoperative wounds, instability of bone fragments fixed with metal constructions
- complications affecting the cardiovascular, pulmonary, or digestive systems that developed in the early postoperative period and are still present at the time of discharge from a surgical hospital
- circulatory insufficiency above stage II A
- angina pectoris of functional classes III–IV
- severe heart rhythm and conduction disorders (atrial fibrillation/flutter occurring twice or more per month, paroxysmal tachycardia with more than 2 attacks per month, frequent and group extrasystoles, second–third degree AV block, complete heart block)
- incomplete recurrent myocardial infarction
- arterial hypertension with impaired renal nitrogen-excreting function
- symptomatic hypertension with impaired renal function
- hypertensive crisis course of disease
- chronic cardiac aneurysm with circulatory insufficiency above stage I
- aortic aneurysm with circulatory insufficiency above stage I
- recurrent thromboembolic complications
- acute or subacute cerebrovascular disorders
- decompensated or severe diabetes mellitus
- general contraindications for sanatorium treatment, including acute infectious and venereal diseases, psychiatric disorders, blood diseases in acute phase, malignant neoplasms, acute renal or hepatic failure, and other conditions requiring surgical care
Notes
Upon admission, patients must provide a referral for medical rehabilitation in a sanatorium setting (Form No. 057/u-04) with justification of the need for rehabilitation (indicating high rehabilitation potential), an outpatient medical record extract, and all required test results according to the list.
Treatment is provided under the compulsory medical insurance (OMS), except for certain categories such as employees of law enforcement agencies.
A sick leave certificate is opened at the place of residence and may only be extended in the sanatorium.
Only patients who have undergone injuries or surgeries of the musculoskeletal system are accepted for rehabilitation.
In the absence of the referral, outpatient extract, or required documentation, admission will be refused.
