The Buran Sanatorium is located away from the noise of the city, close to a pine forest and a beautiful forest lake nearby.
How to get to us from Moscow by car
Start by taking the Yaroslavl Highway (M8) and continue until the 61 km mark.
- At this point, turn left towards the city of Sergiev Posad.
- Drive through the city for about 12 km, following the central street and passing the famous Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius.
- At the next intersection, follow the sign “Uglich / Kalyazin” and turn left.
- Continue along the Novouglichskoye Highway for about 30 km.
- Look for a turn on the right towards the village of Trekhselishche, signposted for the Sanatorium Buran.
This route will lead you directly to the sanatorium.
How to get to us from Moscow by public transport
Take a train from Yaroslavsky Railway Station (Moscow) to Sergiev Posad Station. The journey takes about 1 hour 40 minutes.
Alternatively, you can take bus No. 388 from VDNKh metro station to the Sergiev Posad bus station.
From Sergiev Posad, take bus No. 53 to the “Buran Sanatorium” stop. The travel time is about 1–1.5 hours.
Bus No. 53 departure times: 05:05, 06:30, 09:05, 13:20, 18:00.
In addition, it is easy to order a taxi in Sergiev Posad, which will take you directly to the sanatorium.
