Reduction and elimination of neurotic symptoms, as well as the physical consequences of neurotic disorders, overcoming the effects of stress of any kind, enhancing the body's adaptive and protective capabilities.

  • neurotic, anxiety, depressive, panic, and stress-related disorders
  • astheno-neurotic and astheno-depressive syndromes
  • neurocirculatory dystonia (a disease manifested by cardiovascular and respiratory disorders, poor tolerance to stress and physical activity)
  • disruption of the functioning of organs controlled by the autonomic nervous system
  • post-traumatic stress disorder
  • disorder of adaptive responses

Also, indications for treatment of the nervous system include: frequent headaches, constant aching back pain, and neck, numbness in the arms and legs, frequent dizziness, previous stroke, atherosclerosis of the cerebral vessels.

List of medical contraindications for spa treatment:

  • Acute and subacute diseases, including acute infectious diseases before the end of the isolation period
  • Sexually transmitted diseases
  • Acute chronic diseases
  • Carriage of infectious diseases
  • Contagious eye and skin diseases
  • Parasitic diseases
  • Diseases accompanied by persistent pain syndrome requiring constant use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances included in Lists I and II of the List of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, and Their Precursors Subject to Control in the Russian Federation1, Registered as Medicines
  • Tuberculosis of any localization in the active stage (for  non-tuberculosis health resorts)
  • unspecified neoplasms (in the absence of written confirmation in the patient's medical records that the patient (or the patient's legal representative) has been warned of the possible risks associated with complications of the disease due to health resort treatment)
  • malignant neoplasms requiring antitumor treatment, including chemotherapy
  • epilepsy with ongoing seizures, including those resistant to treatment
  • epilepsy with remission of less than 6 months (for health resorts not specializing in psychoneurology)
  • mental and behavioral disorders in a state of exacerbation or unstable remission, including those posing a danger to the patient and others

Notes

The first day of stay at the sanatorium includes a consultation with the attending physician and approval of a set of procedures within the program.

The main part of the treatment program, including diagnostic testing, begins on the second day of stay.

With the consent and prescription of the attending physician, guests may purchase any medical services not included in the Treatment of the Nervous System program, provided there are no contraindications.
