Our zoo is not only an exciting journey into the world of fauna but also a unique opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding nature.
South African Zebras. Two zebras live in our zoo. These unique animals have long attracted human attention but are difficult to train. Their diet consists of plants, tree bark, leaves, and roots.
Kangaroos. The marsupial symbol of Australia can leap up to 12 meters in length and 3 meters in height. Kangaroos eat grass and fruit, and they reproduce once a year, carrying their young in a pouch for up to eight months.
Pumas. Our pumas, Laka and Lana, mimic the sounds of their prey to lure them in. They feed on deer, elk, and livestock. They only live in groups consisting of mothers and their cubs.
Leopards Lyalya and Raj. These cats symbolized the Sochi Winter Olympics. Leopards are included in the Red Book of Russia.
Bengal (white) tiger. A rare subspecies of tiger included in the Red Book of Russia. White tigers occur in the wild only once in ten thousand cases.
Camel. Wild camels inhabit hot regions, such as North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. These animals can go up to two weeks without water and up to a month without food.
Peacock. Peacocks are famous for their beauty, especially their long tail feathers. Males have blue crests, while females have brown ones. The male's tail length is 40–50 cm.
Monkey. The mammal closest to humans in body structure and origin. The monkey language includes ten sound signals denoting various phenomena of the surrounding world.
Llama. Llamas were domesticated by the indigenous people of South America. Males are used for transporting cargo in the mountains, but females are not loaded or milked. Pregnancy lasts for about 11.5 months, after which a single offspring is born.
Lynx. Three lynx live in our zoo: Gina, Johnik, and Masha. They are excellent climbers of trees and rocks, and they are also quite good at swimming. The average lifespan of a lynx is 15–20 years.
Black crowned crane. These magnificent birds, with a golden crown of feathers, adorn the African landscape. The crowned crane has become a symbol of Uganda and is depicted on the country's national flag and coat of arms.
Caracal
Despite its external resemblance to a lynx, the caracal does not belong to this genus. This long-eared cat inhabits all of Africa, except for the Sahara. It leads a solitary lifestyle, guarding a territory ranging from 4 to 60 square meters.
King Ram (Five-Horned)
This ram belongs to the Karachai sheep breed. It has a long tail (up to 40 cm) and coarse wool with a high down content (up to 66%). Some individuals possess four horns.
Serval
Our zoo is home to a male serval named Sem and a female named Sara. Servals are active in the morning and evening, hunting rodents, hares, small antelopes, and birds. When sensing danger, they make sudden, sharp leaps.
Lion
A majestic predator, the symbol of strength and royalty. It inhabits the African savannas and Indian forests. Lions live in prides, where the females hunt and the male defends the territory. The lion is distinguished by a thick mane, a powerful physique, and a loud roar that can be heard for kilometers. Feeding on large herbivores, it plays a vital role in the ecosystem.
