The Mobile Audiovisual Complex PRAK is the first Russian device for transcranial phototherapy with a wide range of applications.
It looks like something out of a futuristic movie: the headset consists of 10 light modules. Each module irradiates the projections of the cortex and subcortical areas of the brain with near-infrared radiation (810 nm) and red light (660 nm). Despite its compact size, the device is quite powerful, and the radiation can penetrate through bones and the skull's membranes to a depth of up to 1 cm into tissues.
